Have you ever sat back and wondered, well if there are so many drugs that help people such as Marijuana, shrooms, LSD, and more why are they not being studied thoroughly enough to help stop these huge mental, physical, and emotional diseases many of us possess.
Well, apparently the US government and private doctors have been studying the positive effects of magic mushrooms and many of the drugs listed. Slowly but surely the release of theses drugs for prescription use is actually happening. For years beyond your great grandparents, the use of magic mushrooms has been a tribal favorite for healing and helping life in general. The use of magic mushrooms is a long trip into your mind that could harm you if not properly supervised or dealing with huge emotional trauma. Just like dreams, psilocybin (the active drug in magic mushrooms) affects your reality and inner vision to help you connect your brains and deal with physical and emotion trauma.
As you know, everything including pain has to do with triggers from your brain. Though most diseases have a mind of their own, doctors undoubtedly admit that a positive mind and attitude effects the outcome of a disease’s affect on your body. This is because your body usually has the chemicals inside of itself, usually white blood cells, that attack the disease. Since your brain triggers everything to be created, if you feel like this is the end, your subconscious mind will keep battling while your conscious mind will cease to battle. This plays a huge effect on everything from heartbeat to blood cell creation. This is why the placebo effect is so important to study while studying a new drug. The placebo helps us see if your average mentality can do the same effect or more than the drug, or if the drug is actually helping. In this case, psilocybin has a great and massive actual effect compared to the placebo
This study directed by Dr. Robin Carhart-Harris of the Imperial College London demonstrated that psilocybin influences the cerebrum’s conduct as it empowers a portion of the primitive locales of the mind that are connected with emotional brain processes. Carhart-Harris infused 30 volunteers with psilocybin and continued to lead brain scans on each of them to attempt and distinguish any adjustments in cerebrum piece. Alongside the recently dynamic primordial areas of the cerebrum, it was additionally watched the greater part of volunteers experienced less dynamic hesitance and more thoughtfulness.

Hopefully one day soon we will be able to conduct far more studies in this realm so we can change the depression and diseases so many are claiming to have been cured of by using psilocybin and many other drugs including ayahuasca and THC. As for THC and CBD, the two active parts of marijuana, since there have been new laws allowing the use of it and, therefore, there has been a lot of research added on to the positive forefront of healing humanity.
“We’ve never had drugs before with an instant effect. This could create a paradigm shift to help people into a different state of thinking that they can stay in.” – David Nutt, Professor of Neuropsychopharmacology
